As I stood in the kitchen scrubbing down the counter I thought what a great thing it would be to have a self cleaning kitchen. No robots or anything but when I flip a switch a beam or ray would come out and zap away all the filth.
I’d also like a kitchen extender, sort of like leaf you would put in a table to make it bigger but just for the holidays. It all goes back to not caring too much for cleaning duty and I’m not usually in the cooking frenzy I am around the holidays. Which is a shame because I do love to bake but I don’t like having all those calories sitting around tempting me to increase the spread of my bottom.
As soon as I’m done I’ll be posting with loads of photos and stories of my Thanksgiving.
I’m also excited because this year in our new home will be my first Christmas tree. Even though I’ve been out of the parent’s home for a very long time we haven’t been in a place to put up a tree and I couldn’t see buying a tiny artificial tree just to remind me I don’t have a lovely grand tree with all sorts of fun decorations on it.
So pictures soon, as well as a tutorial on making a lovely felt Christmas tree skirt, felt ornaments and a few other great things.
Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving! Be sure to save room for pie.

We have a little tiny tree we put up on the table, but we like it.
We are mostly visiting housese for the holidays, so we don’t feel the need to put up a big tree, and the small one makes us laugh.
